Leslie Horton created eTime Solutions and the newly released CFO As You Grow Program for Northern California executives and business owners who seek outside guidance in a number of key areas. In this capacity she helps clients with a variety of CFO and Business Development services to fuel growth. Some of these deliverables include: raising working capital, creating larger bank lines, forming and facilitating strategic advisory boards, providing big picture visibility through management reporting, monitoring the cash management "pulse," enhancing growth through M&A activity and achieving successful liquidity events. Serving clients’ best interests and achieving results are a high priority to us.
Ms. Horton believes in integrated thinking and is a strategist and a "maximizer." She works with clients in a variety of industries including architecture, accounting, business services, contract manufacturing, data center energy reduction solutions, engineering, environmental services, hardware, law, Internet technologies, high-tech manufacturing, manufacturing, medical devices, R&D, software and system integration. Ms. Horton is a successful entrepreneur, CFO and a business development professional. She has worked with Fortune 500 firms such as Bay Networks, Advanced Micro Devices and Apple Computer, as well as early stage companies such as iCelerate, ioSafe and Closed Loop. Ms. Horton brings multi-faceted expert skills to her clients garnered from her 20+ year career.

Raising/facilitating $100+ Million in funding through private placement with angel investors and venture capitalists, conducting a road show and serving as a key contributor on two public offerings. She has raised an additional $14+ million in funding during the recent downturn.
Creating innovative business development campaigns such as the one that accelerated revenue achievement via a server platform client’s “Who’s Who” customer advisory board: thereby shortening the sales cycle by 75%. She has opened doors or strengthened the relationships for clients with such Fortune 500 companies as Google, Home Depot, Chevron, IBM, Juniper Networks, PeopleSoft, NEC, Sybase and the Gap.
Spearheading mergers & acquisitions to ensure rapid traction, market success and achieve shareholder objectives. She has negotiated with Fortune 500 firms while representing small clients from several industries including consumer goods, contract manufacturing, hardware, networking, plastics, services and software.
Ms. Horton has served as a judge at recent Sierra Nevada Innovation Challenges where young companies present their products or services. She is an advisory board member for Innovate Northstate and ioSafe. Leslie is Vice President/Executive Board Member of the Auburn Airport Business Park Association. She completed her undergraduate work at CSU Northridge and received her MBA from Santa Clara University. She is an executive, entrepreneur, CPA, MBA and published journalist.
Scott Metcalf, Senior Partner: Venture Catalyst
Mr. Metcalf is a successful Silicon Valley CEO and entrepreneur. He has raised more than $200 million in venture capital for technology startups. Mr. Metcalf is noted for his strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Mr. Metcalf brings 29 years of international high technology business experience to bear in his business dealings during which time he has consistently raised private capital, developed technologies and infrastructure to maturity, and facilitated a number of merger and acquisition transactions.
Some key CEO career highlights are: Semio, an enterprise knowledge management software firm, acquired by Entrieva; Digitivity, a Java server and security software company, acquired by Citrix; HAL Computer Systems, a maker of super computing workstations and servers, acquired by Fujitsu; and Dynabook Computers, a portable computer design firm, acquired by Unisys. Earlier in his career, Mr. Metcalf was a high level executive at Sun Microsystems and handled global operations and procurement for this Fortune 500 company.
Mr. Metcalf serves on the boards of more than a dozen public and privately held high technology companies in the United States and Europe. He is also a limited partner investor at several Silicon Valley venture capital firms.
Mr. Metcalf is regularly invited by select venture capital firms to trouble shoot and resolve portfolio company challenges.
